The City Of Yarra is excitedly announcing the details of its annual Leaps And Bounds music festival, set to take place across the city’s pubs and clubs during the winter months. The festival, presented by the City Of Yarra and supported by PBS, promises to bring together a diverse range of music lovers, with this year’s lineup featuring a mix of established and up-and-coming artists from across the country.
The festival’s programme boasts an incredible array of acts, including the legendary Punters Club hosting Kennel District, which is an I Oh You and Calibre-hosted event that will take over Brunswick Street into The Evelyn Hotel. β’
- First Nations country icon Roger Knox will take over Fitzroyβs Standard Hotel
- Rocket Science will team up with Hot Blood for a special show at The Gem
- Tracey Miller Band will head to The Corner Hotel for an afternoon of jazz classics and gospel music
In addition to these highlights, The Grace Darling will team up with Scorched Axis to present a mesmerising mix of outsider electronics and ambient soundscapes, while Runner Up Rooftop Bar will see a chess tournament soundtracked by DJs dubbed Chesstivus.
- The Bodriggy Brew Pub will feature four days and nights of First Nations programming, with artists such as Candice Lorrae, Poli-Pearl, WVCHWY, Kanisha, Liv And The Dreams Art, Fosters and Tjum Tjumba Collective taking part.
- The Tote will bring out Constant Mongrel, J. McFarlaneβs Reality Guest and more for its Lazy Sunday.
- PBS will take over The Railway Hotel for its live broadcast of Radio City and Swinging Doors.
